Week of April 5, 2016 - Venice

Susun in a Venetian alley. And there were even nitches in the walls so you could hide and leap upon someone. At the end of this alley was a small restaurant where I fulfilled my fantasy of eating seppia, cuttlefish in its own ink. Wow!

Susun with a Venetian plaque. Public art is everywhere, everywhere, and all the places in between. These plaques with griffins and plants (and the sun-warmed bench) on the outside wall of St. Marks’s church called to me on my first walk through Piazza San Marco.
