Justine and I have spent the past week together.

Creating.

We have ignored everything else.

Monica Jean (MJ) and her beau Phillip have cooked — gloriously — all our meals,

And made nourishing herbal infusions for us to drink,

So we can create, create, create.

Here's our list of what we planned to accomplish. And what we actually did.

> Create at least one mitochondria book in The Motherline Medicine Series.

— The Spirit of the Plants

— Yes! (Still work to do, but all images are laid in and sized.)

* -- Cover — Yes, done, stunning. (You will see it soon in my ezine.)

* -- Promotional copy — Yes, and more needed. (Below)

* -- Ads — Not yet. Maybe get help?

* -- Added this week:

* -- .. Parlay with printer on page count — It took us five days, but we got the price we need to make the Motherline Books — there will be at least five in the series — easily available to you. — Done

* -- .. Create a sell sheet. — Yes, done

* -- .. Decide on descriptive categories. — Yes, done

> Make copies of quilts (July 2025 through early February) at both copy places.

(One is supposed to be superior; let's see if it's worth the extra drive and higher price)

— Yes. Done and picked up from both shops. And, Ohh. The costlier one is worth it. The colors are much richer. Good to know.

* -- Give copies away at our party. — Done

* -- Date all copies with date of creation. — Done (Took us a while, fun.)

> Videos for nettle conference

* -- Ask Allie what we have so far. — Not done, doesn't matter.

* -- Upload videos done last year. — Yes. Now Allie has 44 videos for my presentation.

* -- Make nettle recipes in Justine's beautiful kitchen. — Yes, we made 14 videos.

* -- MJ is available to play with us. Goody. — Yes

* -- You will see them in The Nettle Kitchen at the Nettle Conference and at www.wisewomanmentor.com

* -- Nettle gomasio = a huge favorite; being eaten by the spoonful, right out of the jar. Guess it's okay that we couldn't find the lid to the jar. — Yes

* -- Russian Nettle Tonic — cooked nettles blended with sour cream and garlic — disappeared, the bowl licked out. — Yeah.

* -- Of course we made nettle infusion. —LOL

* -- Note to self: Make three more videos. 1. Strain nettle infusion. 2. Finish Green Goddess plant food video. (We both deal with ADHD and it's easy to get distracted at the end of our sessions.) 3. Goodbye to kitchen —Don't drink the hair tonic!

> Self care

* -- Dr Frank — Yes. (Our osteopath, an anthroposophic doctor, magically put us back into our bodies, adjusting Justine's broken toes, MJ's twisted spine from quad roll, and my left knee, bashed when I slipped on the last step and smashed down. No wrist jams. Neck fine. Just my left knee. Oops. Kneecap now back in place. Gratitude.)

* -- Foot massage? — No. Didn't want to make the effort to drive there.

* -- Eat the duck you gave me. — Oh my. What a meal. Celebration. Delicious.

* -- Walk? — No. Too cold; temps in the teens. We are glued to our chairs, only arising for food. Create, create, create.

> At least start on our new course for wisewomanschool: Nootropics = Smart.

— Yes. Outline is created. It's going to be a massive course. A video on each of over a dozen herbs, a dozen foods, and a dozen supplements, plus a few on drugs. (Drugs don't work to repair or restore memory, so not much to say except to warn folks off.) We will start videoing this spring, when Justine and family return from Costa Rica.

> Make a new rack card for wisewomanschool courses? Old one is outdated. Let's promote the single herb virtual conferences. They are unique and, I declare, the most enjoyable, easiest, and least expensive way to learn herbal medicine.

— Yes! This was the most delightful day of our work together. Smooth and easy. We went to www.wisewomanschool.com and made a list of the offerings there. Then created a card to promote the courses. We were both happily shocked at how many courses we have already created. Even a couple that we had forgotten about. (Sorry trees.) (Also to be included in next ezine.)

Promotional copy for "The Spirit of the Plants,"

Motherline Medicine Series, Book 1

"Evocative images — luminous virtual mitochondria quilts —

Paired with heart-opening words.

Two herbalists join their arts

To illuminate the spirit of the plants.

"Motherline Medicine nourishes your mitochondria.

Every virtual quilt is stitched together with mitochondria.

Mitochondria live in all life,

Connecting every individual into the greater web.

"These words and images are prayers.

They are holy songs transcribed and transmitted

For the greatest good for all." Susun Weed

"The task of the herbalist is to,

by virtue of a genuine desire,

and a wish to be useful,

work towards our intended effects,

not by a direct assault on any supposed disease, disorder or ailment,

but by locating a place somewhere inside the soul's forest

that best represents health's song and echo.

We do not aim our amethyst arrows at a target.

We direct our force of will towards a vision,

so that we may, perhaps,

without trespassing on someone else's unique and storm tossed humanness,

entice the Goddess,

and the lyric light that shines in us all,

to enter our worlds

for the highest good of everyone concerned."

~ Matthew Becker

His words give me goose bumps,

Startle tears from my eyes,

Expand in my heart with a glow of recognition.

I'm so excited to be bringing Matthew's poetry to you.

Together, his words and my images, are a language of desire and delight.

Books take a while, but this one is on the way.

Stay tuned.

It is in beauty.

It is a giveaway dance.

Our breath is a gift of the plants.

Our hearts beat as one together with the earth's heartbeat.

Surrounded by green blessings

Gratitude

Joy
