The Nourishing Nettle Conference starts today.
My family arrived home from their winter in Costa Rica yesterday.
It looks like my young goat Ashay may give birth this week.
I want to plant seeds.
The plants that overwintered in the house want to come outside.
Now!
I need to move compost.
There's so much chickweed to harvest.
What shall I do with it all?
Right now there's two pounds — no joke — in my fridge.
Garlic mustard to pull up.
Roots for vinegar.
Leaves to cook.
Started on that yesterday:
The Monarda didyma (red bee balm, Oswego tea) smiled at me
As I pulled the garlic mustard smothering her.
Still looking for an answer to how to best tend my
Bear-slept-in-me garlic.
My only problem is what to do first.
Nope. No problem.
Go to the Nettle Conference.
No contest.
The first thing is to listen to today's presentations.
I was there last night.
Such beautiful presenter photos.
And great audio clips.
Worth a listen.
There will be two zooms today.
A full hour with each presenter.
Lively discussions.
Hope to see you there.
At the Nourishing Nettle Conference. 🌿

It is in beauty.
The beauty of nettle is green.
It is a giveaway dance.
Let's breathe and dance with sister spinster stinging nettle.
All hearts beat as one with the heartbeat of the earth.
My heart, your heart, the heart of nettle.
Nourishing green blessings surround us.
Gratitude for you, nettle.
Gratitude for you, reader.
Gratitude
